CALLING ALL FORT LEE STUDENTS! The Harlem Wizards are coming to Fort Lee High School to take on The Fort Lee (almost) All-Star team with a roster full of your teachers! The game will take place Tuesday May 17th, 7pm at FLHS. Besides some exciting basketball, there will be prizes, contests, and much more!

March 1st is the kickoff period for our annual Fort Lee Film Commission sponsored Jersey Filmmakers of Tomorrow Bergen County High School Student Film Festival. The entry period runs from March 1st through July 1st and entry forms are available via a download at www.jerseyfilmmakersoftomorrow.org. The top prize is the James Gandolfini Best of the Fest Award, which includes $500 and internships at Downtown Community Television Center and Sirk Productions Digital Studio both of Manhattan. This year our lead sponsor is iPic Theaters of Fort Lee. They are opening the first cinema in Fort Lee since the 1980's as part of the new development near Main Street. As a result our awards ceremony and finalist films screening will take place on November 5th at 2pm at the iPic Theaters of Fort Lee.

2016 NJ FAFSA DAYS
We are very pleased to announce that our high school newspaper, The Fort Leeder, has been awarded FIRST CLASS with One Mark of Distinction by The National Scholastic Press Association. The NSPA is a national organization that is membership-based, and is considered to be one of the most prestigious award bodies in high school journalism, comparable to the Pulitzer Prize. Adviser and Journalism Teacher, Sophie Karabatsos, and the entire staff of The Fort Leeder are very proud of their hard work and this prestigious national recognition.
