RENT

Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize winning musical, RENT, has found its way onto the Fort Lee High School stage.  RENT is a rock opera based on Giacomo Puccini’s opera, La Boheme, that tells the story of a group of impoverished artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of AIDS.  RENT will open on April 27th and run until April 29th.  All performances will begin at 7:00 in the Fort Lee High School auditorium and run for approximately 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission.  Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (with i.d.) and senior citizens.
