Attention Juniors - College Application Season

Attention Juniors - College Application Season
Posted on 03/19/2020
Good Morning Juniors & Families,

I hope this message finds all of you and your families well and safe. In an effort to hold on to some normalcy, the School Counseling Department would like to continue with the counseling curriculum while we are home. Things may be a little unsettling right now but you will all be going to college soon!!! Most colleges are in the midst of setting up virtual tours so let's get started! At this time, junior conferences have begun-which will outline Naviance and its many functions related to the college application process. Each counselor has devised a letter which will explain the next steps in scheduling your one to one conference.

We have also created video guides on how to use Naviance. We are asking all students & families watch these videos prior to your one to one counseling session so you are somewhat versed in Naviance as the counselor walks you through it over the phone.

**The "College Planning _Parents of Juniors" is for parents
**The "Counseling the College Applicant" was the parent presentation we provided parents at our counselor breakfast this fall.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or your counselor at anytime. We are available through email and Google phone calls as well! Stay safe & healthy!
