Attention Seniors: Please see the attached link to the FLHS Scholarship Application.

Every year FLHS sponsors an Academic and Service Awards Dinner to highlight members of our senior class on their accomplishments and community service.  This event is held at the Fiesta in Wood-Ridge, NJ in May. At this dinner, local agencies award scholarships to FLHS graduating seniors. Last year, over $95,000 was awarded to the Class of 2019. The scholarships ranged from $200-$15,000 per student!!!

At this point, we have about 45 different community agencies who want to give out about 60 student scholarships.  They are not all looking for students with the highest GPAs.  Some specifically ask for students in average academic standing!  These scholarships are for ALL seniors so we highly encourage ALL students to apply.  Last year, two seniors were awarded $15,000 each from one donor!

If you are interested in applying for one of these scholarships, please complete the linked scholarship application below. Keep the following in mind:

  • The online application must be completed by April 1st.
  • The paper applications are due to either guidance or specific email addresses by March 31st.
  • It is suggested that you read through the online application and begin answering the essays/short answers in a separate document as you can not save your application and come back to it.
  • Submit the online application once you have a pretty good idea of the school you will be attending.  It is ok to submit it on April 1st once you have more acceptance info but DO NOT WAIT that long to start the application.
  • It is ok if you the college you ultimately decide on is different from what you write on this application.
  • There are five additional paper scholarship applications to pick up in guidance:
    • Gregory Magee Scholarship: This is the scholarship which gifts two students with $15,000 a year!!! EVERYONE SHOULD BE COMPLETING THIS!
    • Joseph Mariano Scholarship
    • Korean American Association of Fort Lee
    • Fort Lee Education Foundation
    • Korean Parent Advisory Committee
