Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) Program

FLHS School Counseling Department held their annual 10th grade parent & counselor breakfast on Friday, October 18th at 9 am in FLHS Auditorium. Parents were given the opportunity to meet their child’s counselor and learn about how to get their child involved in clubs and activities in order to boost college applications! There was also a presentation given by representatives from the Bergen County Division of Mental Health regarding the new 10th grade Teen Mental Health First Aid(tMHFA) program. Fort Lee High School is one of 35 schools nationwide who have been chosen to participate in Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation & National Council for Behavioral Health new program. Teen Mental Health First Aid

We’re thrilled to share that the County of Bergen’s Department of Health Services’ Division of Mental Health is partnering with Fort Lee High School in order to participate in The National Council for Behavioral Health and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation's expanded pilot program. We are one of 35 sites nationwide that will be introducing Teen Mental First Aid(tMHFA) to our school community. This program will be offered to our 10th grade class and is slated to begin in late fall. More specific information regarding the start date of the program will be coming in the near future. Fundraiser to support FLHS Band Boosters

Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support FLHS Band Boosters. Come in to the Chipotle at 134 Linwood Plz in Fort Lee on Monday, September 9th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to FLHS Band Boosters.

General Education Preschool Program
The Fort Lee School District will be offering additional seats in the General Education Inclusive Preschool classes for the 2019-2020 school year. This Preschool Program will be housed at School #2, 2047 Jones Road, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. School is open to all four year-old children who reside in Fort Lee. The child must be four (4) years of age and born between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015.
