Attention Fort Lee Community: Fort Lee High School’s Academy of Finance is holding a fundraiser with It’s Greek to Me (located at 1611 Palisade Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). The funds we raise will go towards the AOF Scholarship Fund and will also fund our program for various activities, like field trips. The Fort Lee High School Counseling Department and the expert college consulting team Command Education will be hosting a custom virtual Application Booster® Camp to help seniors jumpstart their college applications.

The High School Counseling Department would like to cordially welcome you to the 2022-23 school year. Please take a look at your counselor's welcome back letter for important school events that will take place over the year! We look forward to another rewarding school year!

All juniors are required to take the new graduation assessment called the NJGPA the week of March 15th. Please see the attached letter for more information.

The Fort Lee High School Academic Hall of Fame was established by Dr. Alan Sugarman, a former superintendent, and the Academic and Service Awards Committee. This year will be the 37th year that a Fort Lee alumnus will be inducted into the Hall of Fame based on meritorious service in his or her professional endeavor and overall community involvement. At this time, Fort Lee High School is requesting nominations and would like your input. On 11/12/21 the School Counseling hosted a virtual meeting with junior parents and counselors to discuss the SAT and ACT, the junior checklist and Naviance. Please see the attached documents and video of the presentation for your review.

Fort Lee High School’s International Thespian Society and Academy of Theatre Arts will be performing on the Fort Lee High School stage once again! Our first production back is PROMEDY written by Wade Bradford.

On 10/15/21 the School Counseling Department hosted a virtual meeting to introduce parents to the college application process and the SAT vs ACT.

All 10th & 11th grade students will take the PSAT on Tuesday, October 26th. Please see the attached room roster list to see what room you will be testing in

On Thursday, September 30th our School Counseling Office hosted the 9th Grade Parent & Counselor Meet and Greet.

On Wednesday, September 22nd our School Counseling Office hosted Financial Aid Night.

On Tuesday, September 21st our School Counseling Office hosted Senior & Senior Parent Night.

All students in grades 9-12 will be testing and specific grade levels will have delayed openings on non tested days.

Tuesday, September 21st @ 7:00pm we will be hosting our annual Senior Night.

Wednesday, September 22nd @ 7:00pm we will be hosting Financial Aid Night.

Good Evening Ninth and Tenth Grade Families, We cordially invite our ninth and tenth grade “Classroom Champions” to Fort Lee High School’s 2021-2022 Orientation Program. This event will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Our ninth-grade program will run from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. and our tenth-grade program will follow from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Are you a rising senior looking to get a jumpstart on your college applications? If so, Ms. Brown & Mrs. Lawlor will be hosting an all senior boot camp on the college application process on Monday, August 23rd and Monday, August 30th. The sessions will be held in-person and will run about 2 hours. This program is highly recommended for any students who will be applying early decision and early action. Please complete the below form no later than Wednesday, August 18th.

We’re thrilled to share that the County of Bergen’s Department of Health Services’ Division of Mental Health is partnering with Fort Lee High School in order to participate in The National Council for Behavioral Health and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation's expanded pilot program. We are one of 35 sites nationwide that will be introducing Teen Mental First Aid(tMHFA) to our school community. This program will be offered to our 10th grade class and is slated to begin in late fall. More specific information regarding the start date of the program will be coming in the near future.
